Local residents have posted their condolences to Ms. McGuire’s family on social media, with many remembering her as having a ‘heart of gold’.

The National Hotel in Clunes, which is run by Hannah’s parents, thanked everyone for their love, support and kind words in a Facebook post, saying their hearts are broken.

An online fundraiser for the McGuire family has been set up by the Clunes Cricket Club, which so far has raised over $45,000.
