With the federal election campaign entering its final stages, thousands of votes have already been cast in the Ballarat electorate.
With over 116,000 people registered to vote in the Ballarat electorate, latest data from the Australian Electoral Commission has found over 21,000 votes have been cast at local pre-poll voting stations.
Over 18,000 locals have submit their vote via post.

Meanwhile, punters have named Labor’s Catherine King as the favourite to retain the seat.
National betting agency Sportsbet has quoted Ms. King at $1.05 to win, whilst Liberal candidate Paula Doran has been quoted at $12.00 to win.
All other candidates currently have a $26 chance to win.
