A Mitchell Park resident claims crime in the suburb is on the rise, as police response times slow from a lack of resources.
This week, it took police seven hours to respond to reports of a stolen car being dumped in the area.
A man was also seen shooting-up in a local park in broad daylight.

Robert Yates says residents have had enough.
“Everyone is just so worried about it. We don’t know what to do,” he said.
“Every neighbour has [now] got cameras. It’s just so unsafe and the police are so under resourced, it’s not funny.”
Ballarat police have been contacted for comment.
