Police are investigating after a terrifying robbery at a Ballarat shopping centre on Saturday afternoon.
At around 4:15pm, an unknown man entered a clothing store at Stockland Wendouree and began collecting jackets, a puffer vest and a pair of jeans worth over $4000.
When a staff member approached the man after he allegedly attempted to leave without paying, he reportedly lifted his top up to display a knife and made threats to the employee.

The man was last seen exiting the centre and was described as wearing a hooded top and surgical mask.
