Multiple items of interest in the search for missing woman, Samantha Murphy, have been discovered by detectives in a dam near Buninyong.
The Missing Persons Squad, AFP investigators and specialist units from across Victoria Police spent yesterday morning and afternoon combing through the water on the private property.
Police have recovered what appears to be a mobile phone inside a phone case and identification cards at the site and say the items located will now be forensically tested.
This morning, detectives from the Missing Persons Squad said their search of the Buninyong location has concluded and they will not be searching there again today.
Samantha was last seen leaving her Ballarat East home on the morning of February 4th to go jogging.
In March, 22-year-old Patrick Orren Stephenson was charged with Ms. Murphy’s murder.
The investigation remains ongoing.
