The two officers injured in a frightening police car ramming in Mt Clear last week are doing okay after suffering minor injuries.
The alleged driver, a 20-year-old man from Wendouree is now facing multiple charges including aggravated intentional exposure of police to risk by driving, as well as firearms and drug offences.
“They located a knife on him, but we also had a home-made shotgun located in the vehicle.”
“This is very concerning for us, but the officers did a very good job to get it off the streets,” Acting Superintendent Ben Young said.
The man has been remanded to face Ballarat Magistrates Court on July 18th.
