The Avoca and Rokewood CFA brigades are in line to receive world-class heavy tankers to battle future fire seasons.
They’re part of a list of 28 CFA brigades across the state to receive the latest rollout of the vehicles, of which 50 were delivered in total in two phases.
The Victorian made tankers can withstand 600 degrees, making them a major asset to the fire prone regional areas.

delivery of the full fleet of new tanks will be completed by November.
