Ballarat Police are on the hunt for a machete wielding bandit.
CCTV footage shows a man wearing a motorbike helmet enter a Mitchell Park service station on Learmonth Road on the night of Sunday November 6 at 8.20pm.

After asking for two packets of cigarettes, the man asks to take a closer look but the counter worker refuses.
He then proceeds to pull out a machete and rob the store – taking off with cash and cigarettes.
Police would like to speak with the man in the above footage.
