A man has died after being shot by police in Daisy Hill, south of Maryborough, last night.
Police were called to the Menzies Drive property after reports a gun was fired just before 3pm on Thursday.
Officers reportedly attempted to engage with the armed man, before a multiple hour siege.

The man allegedly fired at police, who returned fire just before 10pm.
The yet to be identified man died at the scene and no-one else was physically injured during the incident.
Homicide Squad detectives will now investigate the matter.
