A number of jobs are set to go at Stantec, after the company announced it was closing its Ballarat office.
The company is known for engineering, architecture and environmental consulting, and has been involved with the Ballarat West Employment Zone and Delacombe Town Centre projects.
A spokesperson from the company said it was withdrawing its geospatial service offering from the Victorian market.

They say the company will meet its client project commitments or transition projects to local subcontractors, in consultation with clients.
Stantec says they remain committed to their core service offerings in Victoria and their presence in Melbourne and Geelong.
