Grampians Health is currently recruiting participants for a stroke medication trial.
The multi-centre study will investigate the effectiveness and safety of a new anticoagulant after a stroke.
The new treatment will help prevent blood clots from forming, reducing the risk of further clots in patients.

For patients it’s hoped it will lead to better outcomes and recovery, and for medical practitioners it’ll mean more medications are at their disposal.
