Drier conditions still out of reach for Ballarat

Ballarat has been caught up in a cold front that ravaged Western Victoria.

A severe thunderstorm warning on Saturday brought with it a downpour of almost 30 millimetres from the afternoon and into Sunday morning.

The Hopkins, Leigh and Moorabool Rivers remain in Vic Emergency’s warning zone as river levels continue to rise and up to another 6 millimetres of rain is predicted today.

Rain will continue Tuesday before easing on Wednesday.
