The brazen theft of large ticket items as the cost of living crisis deepens has made its way to Ballarat.
Ballarat Police are investigating the alleged theft of a projector from a shop in Ballarat Central on the 7th of February.
Police have released these images of a man they would like to speak with.

It comes as retailers report an up-tick in consumers pocketing larger and more expensive items as the economic crunch worsens.
