Cutting winds keep Ballarat’s ‘feels like’ temperature in single digits

Ballarat is again being belted by strong winds today but this time they’re not from the north like on Saturday.

We were slammed by a 67Kph gust at 10.30am this morning from the south-east, they’ve since dropped back a little to the low to mid 50’s.

Despite the maximum temperature hitting around the 18C mark, the ‘feels like’ has been closer to an icy 8C.

Despite the windy conditions over land only a marine wind warning is in place for Victoria.
