Country councillor gets the nod as MAV President for a second time

A Pyrenees shire councillor has been re-elected into the top job at the Municipal Association of Victoria.

David Clark will serve his second term as President after first being elected in 2021.

“On behalf of Pyrenees Shire Council I would like to congratulate Cr Clark on his re-election in this important role,” said Pyrenees Shire Council Mayor Cr Ron Eason.

“Councils around Victoria rely on the MAV for guidance and support, and Cr Clark’s contribution is
appreciated throughout Victoria as well as here at the Pyrenees.”

The MAV is the peak body for Victoria’s 79 councils.
