Ballarat police are investigating following the theft of a tent from the shores of Lake Wendouree over the weekend.
Belonging to Melbourne Grammar, it was taken from near the Olympic Rings sometime between 10pm Friday night and 6.30am the following morning before the Head of Schoolboys rowing regatta.
The blue and white marquee has the Melbourne Grammar logo printed on its side. Weights, an esky and a table were also stolen.

Police haven’t ruled out a prank by students.
