A Ballarat councillor says he’s putting his hand up for a run at state parliament.
Brown Hill ward councillor Ted Lapkin, who used to be an advisor for Tony Abbott, will stand for the Libertarian Party in the seat of Eureka in November.
“I was kind of headhunted, they made their pitch, we had long discussions,” Mr. Lapkin said.

“The state is in very, very serious difficulty on a number of fronts.”
David Limbrick, the member for the southeastern metropolitan region is currently the only Libertarian at Spring Street after being elected in 2022.
