Ballarat police are on the lookout for an alleged fuel thief.
A white Holden Commodore with registration 1OS2QI attended an Alfredton service station at the end of May and another Ballarat station two weeks ago, failing to pay for fuel both times.
Investigations have revealed the registration is expired and not linked to a Commodore.
