Ballarat and much of Victoria is being belted by fierce winds, and at times rain today, and the bureau says there’s more to come.
Ballarat’s peak gust so far was 83 km/h, coming just after 12.30pm.
A severe weather warning remains in place.

This afternoon winds will move westerly, briefly easing for a short period, with peak gusts around 100 km/h likely to develop before sunrise.
A shower or two is forecast for at least the next three days in Ballarat with a top of 9C Saturday, 12C Sunday and 13C to welcome in Spring on Monday.
