The Ballarat Animal Shelter is urgently seeking new homes for their feline residents.
Until the end of the month, adult cats are available for adoption for only $50, down from the standard fee of $140, as the shelter aims to make way for incoming animals.
Despite the shelter recording a bumper month for adoptions during May, with 86 of the 122 animals adopted cats, there are more than 150 still at the shelter.
