Ballarat Orchid Society Annual Show and Sales

The Ballarat Orchid Society will have their annual orchid show and sales from 1pm on 16th October until 3pm on Sunday October 16th. Juliana Addison will award prizes at 2pm on Sunday 18th October. Offcial judges from the Orchid Society of Victoria will be here on Friday morning to judge all our orchids which are grown here in Ballarat. The show also proivdes an opportunity to give out information and perhaps attract new members who may be interetsed in growing orchids or already grow orchids at home.

Commercial growers will also have many orchids for sale at great prices.

We are a small not for profit club in Ballarat and this is our main fundraising event each year which goes to cover the cost of hiring the venue and running the show. The show allows us to display our lovely orchids grown in Ballarat, provide information to the general public (who often are unaware of the orchids which can be grown locally).
