To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’re building on our flagship Walk for Prems fundraiser by introducing The Mighty Trek Challenge to symbolise and raise awareness of the journey these families endure – physically, emotionally and psychologically.

To honour their strength, hope and resilience, we’ll be pushing ourselves to the limits by taking on an endurance challenge which will see us push an incubator 900km through 20 locations from Sydney to Melbourne.

But no matter where you are, there’s a way to get involved and make a mighty impact!

Ballarat is honored to be included as one of the 20 locations, and we have 40 kilometers to complete to help the Mighty Trek reach the goal of 900 kilometers!

How are we doing that?

Well, that’s where you come in!

We need to walk 7 laps of Lake Wendouree to reach our goal of 40 kilometres and we need your help!

Our walk day will be organised like our previous years, with some entertainment, coffee van, food and raffles.

The main walk will begin at 10:30am but I am hoping that this is our final lap of the 7 laps which we can complete together as one!!

To do that, we need your help to walk (or run) a lap with the incubator prior to the 10:30am lap!

If you are an early riser on a Saturday and like to get some steps in, please register (individual or team) and participate in the Walk For Prems Mighty Trek challenge and help families with premature or sick babies!
