Open Audition Day

Phoenix P-12 Community College invites incoming students to audition for the 2027 Academy of the Arts intake.

The Academy offers specialist training in:

• Acting & Directing
• Dance
• Visual Arts

Audition Day Details:

• Date: Thursday 3 September 2026
• Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm
• Location: College Stadium, Court 1, Sebastopol Campus (enter via Tuppen Drive)
• Lunch is provided. Please bring snacks and a drink bottle for the day.
• What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in.

Students will participate in practical workshops, meet Academy of the Arts staff and current students, and experience what the program has to offer.

The Phoenix Academy of the Arts is designed to provide students with extensive opportunities to excel in the Creative Arts. Students will gain exposure to various mediums within the creative industry, including Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Music and Theatrical Production Design. Through hands-on experience in both school and the broader community, students will gain valuable industry experience and develop pathways in the Visual and Performing Arts field.

This program, running from Year 7 to Year 10, is structured to allow senior students to share their knowledge and insights with emerging artists. It also enhances their skills by connecting them with local and non-local community organisations and training facilities.
