Ballarat Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (BWRAC) are running a training session in basic wildlife rescue and transport at – Buninyong Community House 21 March 9am-5pm

The comprehensive day of training includes information and training in the elements of:
• Species identification, handling and transport methods
• How to pouch check wildlife and identify different stages of macropod joeys in pouch
• Personal safety, PPE and rescue equipment
This training is fully endorsed by Wildlife Victoria and provides a pathway to registration with them for rescue and transport services.
It is also the first step for anyone interested in becoming a rehabilitation carer for native wildlife or for working/ volunteering in a wildlife shelter.
To attend the training, you must be over 18 and hold a valid Victorian Driver’s License.
