How prepared are you to support your pet during an emergency?

City of Ballarat, with funding support from State Government Victoria, are hosting Pet First Aid sessions. Presented by Leanne Carney from A Dogs Life Pet First Aid Care and Nutrition this 5-hour session will leave you feeling confident in supporting your pet in an emergency, and any situation where help may not be close at hand.

This session will cover a variety of topics, including:

– Fractures and limb injuries

– Bleeding and bandaging

– Vitals for emergency situations

– Transporting your pet safely

– CPR and rescue breathing

This is an accredited training course, and when complete you will receive a certificate of training valid for two years. Please note that pets can’t attend these sessions.
