The latest hit Bluey episode ‘The Sign’ was a bit longer than usual at 28 minutes which has made fans a bit anxious and wonder if this is a sign (pun intended) that the show is wrapping up.

The episode delved into whether the Heeler family might sell their home and move because of Bandit’s new job opportunity.

Chatting with BBC Radio 4’s Today, Bluey’s producer, Sam Moor, quickly calmed those worries, sharing that Bluey’s journey is far from over.

“It’s the hot topic,” she joked with BBC’s Nick Robinson, reassuring everyone, “Nope, it’s not the end for Bluey. We’ve got plenty more up our sleeve for you all. We’re already dreaming up what comes next.”

Moor believes the secret sauce to the show’s success is its appeal across generations, with each episode have something for kids, parents, and grandparents alike.

“It’s a show that everyone can enjoy together, on different levels but for the same heartwarming reasons,” she explained. “It’s super relatable. We’ve even got messages from fans saying it’s like we’ve peeked into their living rooms.

Plus, its Australian vibe adds a touch of the exotic,” she added with a smile.

When asked about ‘The Sign’ running longer than usual, Moor shared, “The team poured their heart and soul into this one. It was a labor of love for sure.”

Executive producer Daley Pearson, also shared his excitement for experimenting with the show’s format.

“Taking risks has always brought out the most fun and resonated the most with our audience. We’re always exploring what’s possible, even when we’re not sure we can pull it off. But we’re hopeful,” he said, even hinting at the dream of making a feature-length movie about the beloved animated dog and her family.

Bluey’s charm has captured hearts globally, airing in over 60 countries, including the UK, US, and China. Last year, it was streamed for over 20 billion minutes on Disney+ in the US, landing it among the top 10 most-streamed shows in terms of minutes watched.
