The dirtiest room in your house has been revealed and let’s just say you’re better off preparing dinner in the bathroom.
Professor of public health, environmental science and immunology at the University of Arizona, Charles Gerba, has revealed the toilet, contrary to expectations, is not the most germ ridden room in the house.
Gerba added "There's more fecal bacteria in your kitchen sink than there is in a toilet after you flush it. That's why your dog drinks out of the toilet. He's smarter than you think."
Which leads us to this: Apparently the kitchen is the dirtiest room in the house, owing to the fact that it’s where we prepare foods that can spread salmonella and E. coli.
