As we've always done, Ballarat is pulling out all the stops to commemorate our ANZACs tomorrow. That means a whole bunch of events, and consequentially some road closures too. Here's everything you need to know on the eve of ANZAC Day, 2019.

5:45am - Dawn Service at the Sturt Street Cenotaph. This will be followed by the Gunfire Breakfast at the Ballarat RSL (in the Midlands Golf Club). There will be busses from the service to get you there.

9am - Ex-Prisoner of War Memorial wreath laying service at the Ballarat Cenotaph.

10:30am - ANZAC Day March. Starting from Lyons Street South and travels along Sturt Street to the Ballarat Cenotaph.

11am - Commemorative Sercice at the Ballarat Cenotaph to follow the march. Refreshments will be provided by Two-Up from 1pm at the Midlands Golf Club. Once again, there'll be busses from the service to get you there.

8:45 - Sebastopol March from the Sebastopol Post Office on Albert Street, followed by the Commemorative Service at the Sebastopol Cenotaph, also on Albert Street.

10am - Miners Rest Commemorative Service at the Miners Rest Cenotaph in Howe Street.

10:15am - Buninyong Commemorative Service at the Buninyong RSL on Learmonth Street.

Road Closures:

1pm today (Wednesday) to 4pm ANZAC Day - Sturt Street will be reduced to one lane heading eastbound between Lyons Street and Dawsom Street.

1am to 4pm ANZAC Day - Sturt Street will be closed in both directions between Dawson and Raglan Streets. Lyons Street will also be closed between Dana and Mair Streets. Local traffic will be allowed through (except between 9:30am to 11:30am on Lyons Street South).

8:15am to 10:30am - Albert Street (the A300 Midland Highway) will be closed in both directions from Victoria Street to Walker Street in Sebastopol with traffic detours in place.

From 10:15am Sturt Street and all intersections along Sturt Street will be progressively closed from Raglan Street to Creswick Road as the March comes down Sturt Street. Each intersection will be progressively reopened once the march has passed.

All bus routes along Sturt Street (11, 24, 25, 26) will also be detoured on ANZAC Day between 1am and 4pm. Sebastopol Route 24 will also be detoured from 8:15 to 10:30am around the march on Albert Street (the A300 Midland Highway).
