We don’t mean to alarm you - but CHRISTMAS IS TWO WEEKS AWAY!
One minute we were complaining about supermarkets ALREADY stocking hot cross buns (seriously, don’t be surprised if they’re out on Boxing Day), and the next, Easter is over and we’re behind on our Christmas shopping.
If you’re planning on doing your Christmas shopping online, or maybe posting a card or gift via Australia Post, then you had better be aware of some looming cut-off dates.
Australia Post Group Chief Operating Officer Bob Black has revealed the cut-off dates you need to beat in order to get those gifts delivered by the 25th.
“If you’re sending within Australia using regular mail, post your Christmas gifts before Monday, December 17, but if you’ve got a last minute gift, you can send your presents through our Express Post network as we will be delivering right up to Christmas Eve,” Bob Said.
“The absolute latest you can send your parcel through our Express Post network for guaranteed next day delivery, which covers over nine million addresses, is Friday, December 21 — but check your address is covered first.”
So put simply: Send by Monday December 17th for regular mail, and Friday December 21st for Express Post.
