A Queensland man has had a very lucky escape after finding himself between the jaws of a curious croc.
The 44-year-old was fortunate to escape without serious injury after a crocodile crept up and latched onto his head while the man was swimming near Cairns. He was reportedly taking a dip at a spot about 11km northwest of Cairns on Thursday when he felt a “clasp on the top of his head, which he recognised to be a crocodile,” said critical care paramedic Paul Sweeney.
The man was able to free himself and swim to shore for help, however as it turns out, he was mere inches away from things being a lot worse. Kris had the full story on Power Brekky:
