The Latest from the Home Run

iOS 14 Software Update Promises A Lot Of Good Stuff For Us To Enjoy

If you're an Apple fan, good news, Apple is making some changes to its software, even though Android has had these functions for sometime now.

Apple has been busy, and finally unveiled a "dramatic" redesign of the home screens on iPhones.

This will be part of an annual iOS 14 software update, which should make its way to us just before new models are released later this year.

The thing that has most people excited are the new Widgets (which Android users have been enjoying for quite some time now and quickly pointed out that fact):

Another function had people having some fun:

So Apple claims that:

  • You’re able to do more with your iPhone than ever before
  • Widgets have been totally redesigned to give you more information at a glance which you can add them to your Home Screen
  • You can also add a Smart Stack of widgets intelligently curated based on the apps you use most, and the right widget will show up automatically at the right time in your day
  • The new App Library automatically organises all of your apps into one simple, easy‑to‑navigate view
  • Picture in Picture, now you can keep watching videos or continue your FaceTime call while you use another app
  • When you receive a call, it appears as a banner instead of taking over the entire screen, so you won’t lose track of what you’re doing

AND SO MUCH MORE which you can see HERE
