A tennis-playing CFA volunteer from WestErn Victoria has just played the game of her life, teaming up with Rafael Nadal as his doubles partner in an impromptu-fundraiser for bushfire relief.
Deb Borg was out fighting the fires last week.
Last night the St Arnaud firefighter was playing "hits-and-giggles" in a not-so-serious match at Rod Laver Arena, ahead on the Australian Open, which starts Monday.
Deb took a chance on court – and also managed to get a hug from her favourite player.

The event raised $4.8 million.
Nadal and Roger Federer also pitched in with $250,000 of their own.
