Good Friday Car Jacker Has Fronted Court

A 28 year old man has been remanded in custody over an alleged car jacking on Good Friday.
Anthony Slater is alleged to have pointed a syringe at a Ballarat taxi driver's throat, before driving dangerously around the Ballarat CBD, at around 9am on Good Friday.
He fronted the Ballarat Magistrates Court yesterday, and faces 6 charges, including aggrevated car jacking while on bail, assault, robbery and car theft.
A committal mention is set for July.
