State vaccination rates show Ballarat middle of the pack

Twenty-one per cent of residents in the Grampians region have now been vaccinated for Covid-19.

New figures from the Andrews government show 61-thousand people have had at least one dose - a shade under Bendigo which has recorded 76-thousand.

However the figures don’t include vaxes from the Commonwealth-led GO roll out.

Ballarat MP Catherine King says the Australian Government should release the figures.

"We've obviously got Commonwealth clinics in Ballarat, those figures should be made public so we know what the rates are and so we also know where we need to target messaging, she said.

“There are areas in the country where the vaccination rates are lower.”
