Police have uncovered a haul of weapons, including a silencer and a scope, at a residence in Golden Point.

It came after officers intercepted a man in a Holden Commodore on Cedar Avenue at 7pm yesterday.

After noticing a knife in the vehicle, police discovered cannabis, more weapons, a firearm and a modified spear gun at the man’s home.

The 37-year-old appeared in court on Monday.
