16 year old Keeley Johnson from Ballan has just missed out on being Victoria's nomination for the Young Australian of the Year award.

The founder of 'Keeley's Cause' which gifts iPads to children with autism, had been short-listed along with 3 others.

In only 2 years Keeley, who has autism herself, has raised $70,000 and also received the prestigious Diana Award, which continues Princess Diana's legacy by recognising young peoples extraordinary achievements.

The award has gone to Carlton AFLW footballer Tayla Harris with the winners set to be announced in Canberra on January 25.

The 2021 Victoria Australian of the Year nominee is founder and CEO of the National Homeless Collective, Donna Stolzenberg.
