A junior football carnival in the Central Highlands looks set to get underway.

7 Central Highlands Football League clubs say they are interested in playing in the event set down for Sunday November 15, with league bosses hoping that number may grow to 9 clubs.

A round-robin format will be used giving junior players the rare chance to come together during the pandemic.

It's believed netball will also be played however the venue has not been decided.

The CHFL managed to play 4 rounds of junior football earlier in the year before the season was called off.
