Popular Ballarat comedian and leading dog behaviouralist Tony Knight has been tragically killed in the south of France.
Mr. Knight, who called a farm near Beaufort home for three quarters of the year, had made his annual trip to Europe where he was waiting to attend a music festival in the French town of Tarn.
French media reports he was under a tree with five others when he was struck by a large branch, he later died from his injuries.

His partner Hayley Wright has flown to the area to meet with the Mayor and organise a fitting farewell.
Tony, who regularly appeared on 3BA’s Ballarat Today was 54.
