A Total Fire Ban has been declared for most of the state tomorrow which includes Ballarat and the Central region.
No fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air from 12.01am on Saturday 18th March until 11.59pm
The fire danger rating is listed as extreme with Ballarat forecast to hit 34C before a cooler change late in the day.
Morgan Pumper from the weather bureau says it will also be windy with gusts around 45Kph.
“If you are planning to head to the beach or head out and about to enjoy the very hot and summer like conditions, just keep in mind we are expecting it to be quite windy and with that we are also seeing an increase in the fire danger rating,” Ms. Pumper said.
