In a blow to the community in Ballarat’s west a popular food retailer is set to close its doors.
Wilsons Fruit & Vegetables at Lucas will shut on May 21st after over 9 years of trading saying they are getting back to their roots to focus on selling the best quality produce.
In a statement the company says it has been working to find a viable option for some time but has not been able to do so.

The Mair Street store will remain open and home delivery remains an option.
