Three teens, not from the local area, have been arrested following a frightening home invasion in Ballarat East back in September.
Police allege they entered a home in the early hours of September 27th before assaulting a male with a weapon, stealing numerous items including a PlayStation before speeding off in a Volkswagen.
It’s also alleged the boys, two 16 years-olds and a 17-year-old, were involved in a street robbery in Clyde later that day.
Following an extensive investigation led by Western Region Crime Squad detectives, all three boys were arrested this week in different locations across Victoria and NSW.
Police also recovered the blue Volkswagen which was allegedly stolen from NSW.
They’ll appear before a children’s court at a later date.
