More A/League women’s action for Ballarat this afternoon

After a shock 3-1 loss to Perth Glory on Saturday in Ballarat, Western United will be aiming for A/League redemption later today.

The ladder leaders take on the second bottom Newcastle Jets from 5.30pm at Morshead Park.

Meantime, if you like your football played with a Sherrin, the Western Bulldogs VFLW team will play their Round 1 match in Ballarat, bringing a familiar face back to Mars Stadium.

Former GWV Rebels Coach Rhys Cahir stepped into the coaching role late last year, with his return to Western Victoria his first in the top job.

The Bulldogs come up against Casey Demons at Mars on March 26th.
