A hectic Alfredton intersection is about to be improved with a simple green arrow.
The entrance to Lucas Town Centre off Dyson Drive currently has no dedicated turning signal which often see’s cars who can’t get through dangerously banking back to Sturt Street.
City of Ballarat CEO Evan King says the fix will be funded through the Black Spot scheme.

“We have $50,000 through the federal government through their Black Spot funding to put a green arrow in at that intersection.”
“We’ll also put another traffic light in.”
“We hope to have that work completed in the first half of next year,” Mr. King said.
