The Ballarat Show swings open its gates tomorrow with perfect weather conditions tipped and its new ambassador, Tim Bone, says he couldn’t be more excited.
In a big change the fireworks move to Friday night with the return of the Grand Parade on Saturday.
Tim, a 2019 MasterChef semi-finalist, says it was an honour to be asked.
“The Ballarat Show is just one of those events on the calendar, it’s a Ballarat institution having been around for 90 years.”
“I jumped on the chance because this town has given me so much, so any time I can give back and shout to the world about the amazing things that are happening in Ballarat I’m the first one in line,” Mr. Bone said.
The Ballarat Show is on at the Creswick Road Showgrounds this Friday, Saturday and Sunday with children 14 years of age and under admitted free.
