Ballarat’s status as a confectionary making hub has received a boost, this time thanks to Ferndale Foods Australia.
The company is about to launch a new $20m production line in Delacombe that has the ability to produce multiple types of products.
Ferndale CEO Leigh Edward says it’ll be high volume.

“Foodline Australia is a new player in the Australian healthy snacking market.”
“We’re bring world-class technology into Ballarat to produce up to 180 million snack bars a year,” Mr. Edward said.
The company is currently recruiting up to 40 employees to work at the new facility.
