Flu cases continue to rise in Ballarat amid fears we’re too relaxed about vaccination

There are concerns Aussies are becoming complacent about the flu.

Ballarat’s had 55 reported cases so far this year compared to none this time in 2022.

Nationally there’s been 15-thousand cases this year and authorities say it’s vital locals get the flu vaccine when they’re available.

The 2023 vaccination is scheduled to roll out from April.
