A record attendance could be set at Ballarat’s Mars Stadium tomorrow when the AFL returns to town.
The 7th placed Western Bulldogs will be going up against the 8th placed Adelaide Crows.
The same match last year drew 10,412 people.
Other well attended matches at the ground include the Bulldogs game against Port Adelaide in 2017 (10,087) and the Dogs again against Brisbane in 2019 (9,039).
The two things conspiring against a record turn-out tomorrow are the weather, with showers and a top of just 11C forecast, and busses replacing trains between Bacchus Marsh and Ballarat.
