Ballarat Police say they plan to work more closely with the community to help stem the anti-social behaviour often seen at the Little Bridge Street bus stop.
It comes as the $18.6 million Bakery Hill redevelopment gets underway.
Inspector Jason Templar says police are planning a Coffee with a Cop session on July 20 in the Mall.
“We can’t arrest our way out of this, it’s a community issue and it’s going to take a community response.”
“What that looks like I guess is us engaging all our partner agencies, council, community and businesses, to try and identify what the real problems are that are driving the anti-social behaviour,” Inspector Templar said.
