Ballarat unleaded petrol still sits under $2 a litre

Ballarat and regional Victoria are some of the few places in the country where unleaded petrol still sits at under $2 a litre.

The current average price is $1.98, compared to just over $2 a litre in Melbourne.

Nationally, the price is $2.04, which is the highest average petrol price seen since the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

According to fuel comparison website PetrolSpy, the cheapest unleaded fuel in Ballarat was found at EON Energy in Wendouree at the time of publication.
