After being on the road for the last two weekends the Ballarat Miners will embrace a home game double header this weekend.

They’ll come up against Knox on Saturday night and Diamond Valley Sunday afternoon at Selkirk Stadium.

The men currently sit 3rd on the NBL1 South ladder with the women moving up to 9th after a strong win against the Melbourne Tigers last Saturday.

Chloe Bibby will be a player to watch after being named the NBL1 South player of the week for her 37 points and 12 rebounds against the Tigers.

Meantime, the Miners women have announced the signing of new talent Jaz Shelley ten games into the season.

The 24-year-old was formerly signed on with the Melbourne Boomers in the WNBL during the 2018/19 season, where she was named WNBL Rookie of the Year.

Most recently she was selected by the Phoenix Mercury with the 29th WNBA draft pick for the remainder of the NBL1 South season.

Jaz will take to the court as a Miner on June 15th after the league’s mid-season break.
